Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1995, Mark Cousins has developed a successful career as a composer, programmer, engineer and writer. He has had his works performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the East of England Orchestra, City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brighton Festival Chorus, and continues to write and record music for TV, film and corporate usage. Adept with both the technical and creative proficiencies of producing music, Mark has also mixed several orchestral albums for BMG Zomba, as well as working on sound design projects for Chappell.
Mark is the senior writer for Music Tech Magazine, and has been an active contributor to the magazine since issue 1. Responsible for the majority of cover features, Mark has written about everything from Mastering, to Location Recording and Synthesis, as well as regular input on the magazine's Ten Minute Masters section, Logic Pro 7 Workshops, and product reviews.
